Well, it seems as though the site has finally been opened to the public, hopefully to receive a large amount of traffic. In other news, our Star Party this month will be Sunday, November 23,2003. We will be looking at constellations, and viewing the sky with the aid of star maps. Food and drinks will be provided.
Just a friendly note from your own neighborhood webmaster, The "Moon To Mars Observation Event" was an amazing experience, at least for the attendees. Food and refreshments were available, we actually ended up viewing through two telescopes, much insight was given, and in my opinion, it was an overall satisfactory experience, to group together in one common interest, and discuss it with calm intensity, as if making yourself noticeable in the Universe, through pure observation. I have been given a video from a direct feed through the telescope, and I must say, I highly recommend that anyone who had any interest, but was unable to attend, contact me about borrowing it. Also, I can make you a copy if you supply $0.50 for purchasing the tape.
